Which, if it is equipped with kids between 0 and 12 years old, do not know Center Parcs? A must-see popular vacation credits not far that appeal to kids. The syklop had already had the opportunity to talk about over here on our first visit in April 2006. Center Parcs, these are “areas of leisure” located throughout Europe, in nature, without car, around a “water park”. They describe themselves on their website as follows:

Center Parcs is discover and appreciate an original style of holiday: away from the stress of the city, real breaks ‘Wellness’ to meet, family or friends around multiple relaxation and leisure activities… Located in the most beautiful regions of Europe, the Center Parcs areas are located in the heart of forest areas preserved from pollution: there are cycles. Housed in comfortable and spacious cottages, guests of Center Parcs resources in an exceptional setting of greenery and lakes.

2 parks that we have together opened in 1993 for the tops of Heath, and in 2007 for the Lake of fin:

Established in France since 1988, year of the opening of the Bois-Francs in Eure, Center Parcs opened the field of the high heaths in the Dormouse-and-Cher in 1993. In September 2007, the area of the Lake of fin in the Aisne opens its doors. As with all its settlements, the three french areas are installed on large spaces, located less than two hours from Paris.

The tops of Heath:

Easy access and richness of the Sologne natural setting, the strong tourist potential of the region (close to the Valley of the Loire and its castles, Chambord, Cheverny…) has been an important asset in the choice of this location. The high heaths is located near the lovely village of Chaumont-on-Tharonne (Loir and expensive), between Chambord and Lamotte-Beuvron, 170 km south of Paris.

The new kid: Ailette Lake:

Close to the medieval city of Laon including the Cathedral date from the 12th and 13th centuries, of the city of Reims and 180 km from Paris, the area of the Ailette Lake faces a magnificent 18 hole golf course. His huge Lake of 140 hectares, bordered by a white sandy beach, serves as a framework to different water activities such as sailing, kayaking, rowing.

The 3rd time in a Center Parcs ended the weekend of Easter: it is therefore had April 2006 and April 2007 to the tops of Heath (Sologne), and March 2008 (because – as the Swiss school holidays fall in March this year…) this time in the new french Center Parcs field of the Ailette Lake, in the Aisne. Of course, in having attended 2 parks, can only compare the new kid to the previous. This is what will be done in the next few posts from Quelbazar, because there is really to compare…
