81 SRG co-productions presented at the Solothurn Film Festival
Swiss film in all its facets is the focus of the 58th edition of the Solothurn Film Festival, which runs from January 18 to 25. This year, the festival is once again showing numerous co-productions by SRG, which is also the main media partner. The works shown can also be seen on SRG channels and on the SRG streaming platform Play Suisse. An ideal opportunity to start the new year with good Swiss films.
Documentaries, feature films, animated films, short films and series: SRG invests around 50 million Swiss francs annually in independent Swiss filmmaking, including 32.5 million francs through the Pacte de l’audiovisuel. Within this framework, SRG has co-produced 81 of the 217 works that will be shown this year at the Solothurn Film Festival. With a program that gives plenty of space to central themes such as the fight for human rights, the climate or democracy, the 58th edition of the festival has its finger on the pulse.
